I have a Mixamo rig that was working normally, then "suddenly" the keyframes in the Timeline disappeared. Also, all the controls in the Attribute window grayed out so nothing can be adjusted. Is this really happening?

I would attach Screenshot of the attribute window with grayed-out controls but I keep getting a "file too large" error. It used to be 800 x 600 max, but it won't take my 781 x 390 offering.

          Hi fordmar,

While importing FBX, typically deny the Takes if you don't expect data from different takes. It is a common problem that could be avoided with one click.

Your data is there, but it is stored on a Sub Take.

The fasted way to get out of this problem while being in this state of project development is to go to the Take Manager.
Click on the square on the left and then: Take Manager> File> Current Take to new Document.

As there is no data in the Main Take, this works here. But if you had already placed animations in the Main take, you would have quite some work to do, as there is no merge function. The reason for that is simple; there could be many Takes, and which one overwrites what in the new single Take would be a logistical nightmare in complex projects, hence no merge.

          Images max h=500

          All the best

Blow me away! I have seen the Takes popup before, but didn't understand how crucial it could be. Thank you!
