Is it possible in Cinema4D to preview VDB files?

Not exactly Dr.Sassi.
I was hoping on a preview as a jpg when scrolling through my VDB files.
Now I have to open each file to see the preview in the viewport.

To my knowledge, VDBs have no camera data stored or a preview image saved.
I checked here:
https://www.openvdb.org/documentation/doxygen/faq.html

I have not seen an image-based preview that just takes any VDB and produces a preview on the fly.

I made a feature request. So fingers crossed, something will happen.

The option above is a preview; I'm unsure if anything will be faster.

I checked on the official Open VDB site for Preview; I found nothing.
