Playhead constantly freezing for a second or two, sometimes crashing

Is anyone getting this issue, just updated to the latest version of 2023 and it's frustrating. the playhead takes a few seconds and is lagging all over the timeline. I tried turning off a few effects and things but it keeps lagging. Also crashing, I think I'm on crash 6 for the day.

Sorry to hear that. Not fun.
Have you tried to uncheck All frames? Or run it for a Standard render test to gain more information about the causes?
Besides that, no, I have not experienced that, and it sounds to me more like a case for Tech Support.
