    Hello
I've not really worked much with soft bodies yet, but I have a super simple setup
I'm trying to create a sort of "table" design, where the base of the table is made of a bunch of balls that are all packed against each other, and on top is a slab of stone that looks like it is being held by the balls. The balls have pressure applied to them from their neighboring balls and from the tabletop.

I tried creating a setup where the balls fall in a box, and by doing that they would properly "settle" into position, and I was then going to put the top on them, but I'm having collider issues with the box.
Am I missing some simple setting?

    Thanks!

      Hi AlexC,

Thank you very much for the file and for using DropBox.

Some of these Spheres fall on the zero-dimension edge of the plane. My suggestion would be to create a box as below. Please note that the box does not need to be seen to work. So you can visually present the flat-based box.

      CV4_2024_drs_23_SIsb_01.c4d

I have set up different Sphere resolutions; please pick the one that feels best to you and delete the others.

Please check the Attribute Manager> Mode> Project> Simulation> Simulation parameters; I have increased those.

My best wishes for your project
