I am trying to have an object be a rigid body (new unified system) and be able to bounce around as one piece and then at a certain point to fracture.
I tried setting it up with a Voronoi Fracture and a Rigid tag and adding a Connector> Fixed. However, increasing the Force and the Torque does nothing (this does work with the Bullet System).

Then I was thinking if the Voronoi rigid object could stay together until it passes through a Field which would trigger the fracture but not sure how to set that up. I had seen some videos using a Mograph Selector but it doesn't seem to work with the new dynamic system.

Here is a simplified version of the scene:

I just found the Glue function and tried applying a falloff with the Linear Field.
The object is staying glued together but when going through the Linear Field it doesn't break apart.

I have also tried a third way by setting up a collision for the Parent Object Rock with a specific object Plane. And tried connecting the Collision with either the On or Enabled and tried with both the Rigid Body on the Voronoi and the Voronoi object, but niether worked.

            Hi dnaphish,

Thanks for the file, and for using Google Cloud.

The Simulation System is not working with Connectors, AFAIK.

Here is currently the best I have found, animated the Stickiness. Yes, my value is here over the top, just to be on the safe side.
It helps when the friction is zero to avoid early fractions.

Is it perfect, perhaps visually, with Motion-blur…

            All the best
