      Hi.
      How can I change the background of my Redshift Asset previews to grey as they are in standard Cinema4D preview.1699002602670-scherm-afbeelding-2023-11-03-om-10.02.png

        Hi Dutchbird,

        Which version do you use? I can't reproduce this here.

        I do not have this "character" in my "Asset Browser" in v2024.2, and the image has no name.

        If the "Generate Preview" is not working, perhaps check with the Tech Support.

        All the best

          Hi Dr. Sassi. I am using the latest versions. The assets are self made. The left preview is Redshift the right one is with standard Cinema4D materials.

            Thanks for the information, Dutchbird.

            I thought you meant the items provided, and I could not find any black-grounds.

            Do the following:

            Click on the item in the Asset Browser,

            RMC (right mouse click) on the item> Show Info

            Go to the Info tab, RMC on the Preview> "Update Preview from File".

            Choose the image you like to use, typically a Dome light rendered square-sized image (jpg)

            ===

            To my knowledge, there is no other way, as any extra item in the Asset Scene used for the background would populate the Object Manager after loading it.

            Enjoy
