      Hello again Sassi,

Somewhat related to my last post, is there a way to have a selection tag on one object drive the selection tag on another object?

In the scene file, I explored the Correction deformer to create a loop selection around a simple Sweep object. I stored this selection then copied it to the Sweep object so that it could be extruded by the capsule.

Is there a way to link or drive the selection taken from the Correction deformer to the selection tag on the Sweep object?

      Thanks, David

        Hi David,

Not to my knowledge: I assume the idea would be to use a Polygon Selection set to Fields on the target object. Then, drag the Source Polygon Tag into as information. BUT: I have not gotten stable results with it.

Copy is the way to go here.

Of course, if that is urgently needed, and I haven't used it in production, so please test this carefully:

I use the information from the Correction Deformer. (Press the Polygon Selection >Update button if the Polygon Selection changes.
This delivers new information to the Matrix Object.
The Matrix object then shares that information with the Polygon Object below it (Always "top to bottom" flow)

NOTE: the radius of the Matrix in the Field is crucial, when polygons are small or close to each other, that needs to be very small. Hence my suggestion to test this carefully.
