Sometimes Redshift material libraries come with odd preview objects like a spare on a console or other things. Now I try to generate new previews but sometimes it doesn't show the real material. What can go wrong?
In the screenshots the same material as sphere and as rounded cube. Schermafbeelding 2023-04-20 om 20.05.41.jpg Schermafbeelding 2023-04-20 om 20.05.06.jpg

And please change the image size for uploading previews. This is way to small.

          Hi Dutchbird,

It works here fine as long as all parts are connected to the material on my drive. If they are Asset Browser materials, that sometimes takes longer.

Questions that the tech support might ask.
What are the Preference settings? Was the IPR active during this?
Material previews, AFAIK, have a lower priority than parts in the scene.

          Material Previews
Leave this option enabled to see an updated material preview immediately after changing a material parameter. On the other hand, editing of material parameters can be accelerated if there is no need for automatic recalculation of preview images in Node Editor and Material Manager. A third option will only update the material previews when the renderer is idle.

              Sorry about that, Dutchbird.

Yesterday it worked. Click on the word LINK-NEW, which uses the full link and doesn't stop at the #.

(I don't like hidden URLs, but here I make an exception.)

I copied the relevant text below the link yesterday. I tested it now. Fingers crossed it works again.
