      Hi again Dr Sassi,

I'm trying to activate some rigid body objects (new rigid body system in 2024) by dragging a bunch of clones through a field that effects the mograph selection, but it only works on the first frame and wont keep evaluating the mograph selection.

I can get it to work by dragging the field through the clones instead but it's not the effect I want.

Do you think it might be a priority issue?

In the old bullet engine I used to just use Ghost Body Dynamics to trigger the sim on clones, but that feature isnt available in the new system.

Or do you know a better way to activate clones sequentialy?

      Ive attached my file anyway.

      Thanks again for your help

        Hi MaverickMongoose,

        Thanks for the file!

The problem seems to be a refresh-problem.
If you move the Filed just a tiny bit, which can be as little as "imperceptible" but just enough to change the numbers and force some "attention", then it will work.

Please have a look here. I titled it so the effect is more visible.

No way, I never would have thought of that!

Thats got to be a bug though, strange that you'd have to do that.

Works like a charm now anyway, thanks again Sassi!

            Thank you, MaverickMongoose,

Yes, that is certainly not OK.

That is the side effect of rewriting the whole core for speed, IMHO.

We will get back to normal soon.

            Thanks for your patience

            Cheers
