Hello, I'm probably having a stupid newbie issue (don't really ever use sculpting in C4d). I just have a subdivided plane object that is converted to polys, and then when I go to the sculpting layout I try to sculpt on it, but with no luck...

      Here is my file
      https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/6vxrwcwxp2fjav62lfmok/CantSculpt.c4d?rlkey=xz730sgng99ya2yvl1l5aohym&dl=0

And here is a screen recording of what happens.

I'm sure its something really silly and basic...

        Hi AlexC,

Thank you very much for the file, and for using Dropbox.

The backside of the Polygons does not work for sculpting.
        While all polygons are selected:
Use the Main Menu> Mesh> Normal> Reverse Normals

Then get a Brush, and set the Strength to, e.g., 1000% since your object is super significant.

I could not open the screen capture. What format is that? It had no suffix, and ".mov" didn't work.

          Ah! So simple...
          Thank you!

I use ShareX to make screen captures, so I think they are mp4?

Thanks again for the video recording!

            You're very welcome, AlexC.

ShareX: I have to check and ask about this, but so far it is not on my "safe to use list". Sorry, we have to keep things here very tight, I share too much to take any chances.

My best wishes for your project.
