About old cineversity
-
Hello, on the old cineversity site there was a note that on July 10 the legacy website will be moved to https://cineversity.maxon.net/en. It's now July 23 and when I try to login to old cineversity it transfers me to a new one. But in a new one I can't find old tutorials. Are they lost forever or will they appear with time. For example Hard surface Modeling for UV Unwrapping by Anthanasios Pozantzis. Or CV Dynamic Connector by Donovan Keith

Hi object-world,
My apologies. Reasons beyond fairness and reasonable behaviors forced this move. If we had time to plan it, I assume it would be less painful for anyone.
The people in charge made magic behind the scenes.
Anyway, I have requested the ones you mentioned so they get on top of the to-do list. While it might take some time
Again, I'm as upset about this as anyone else. But I was also amazed at what the team made possible.
I hope your input will show results quickly.
I appreciate your interest
Enjoy

Here is a form to request what is needed.
https://forms.office.com/e/gr1QGLc4Ry
The form requests a URL, which you might not have right now. If Google didn't provide it: If you remember the presenter, the version, or the title, please put this in.
Thank you!

@object-wood Yea... The new one isn't great. No Toolbox, Resources or Exclusive tutorials. May as well just use Youtube, now it's just a poorly organized list of videos.
Today I needed the "Rendering Non-Sequential Frame Ranges from Cinema 4D" tutorial and had to find an old Facebook upload.
The old version was far superior and actually added value.

Hi ThomsonX,
That is the current impression here as well. Thanks for sharing.
Any constructive input is welcome. (OMG, that sounds so like a managed reply. I'm sorry if that comes across that way.)Yes, I loved the previous one, v3, and it had a filter system that worked. I was not involved in designing v4 (the version here), so I'm not biased.
I wish Google would only be open to discussing features on YouTube ;-), e.g., allow for multiple sites to interact better, so we have more theme-focused sites and don't separate things too much.
Thank you for your input.
Have a great day.

No problem, thanks for being open about it. Have a good one.

You're very welcome, ThomsonX.
Without listening with an open mind, we do not progress.
I hope we can do better … soon, but getting so much content re-organized is a lot of work.
All the best
