Preroll emitter

Question about Emitters in Cinema4d.
I have done this in Blender, but cannot figure out how to do this in cinema4d
Am trying to create a stream of bubbles in a glass bottle. The Bubbles take some time to rise into view. How can I sort of "pre-roll" the particle system so it starts like -240F when the play range is set to 0-90F. Even if I set the start Frame of the Emitter to -240F the bubbles still only start at 0 (Start of Play range). How can I make this work ?

Hi family-flow,
Set the preview time to -240 and the end time to your target end time.
In the Attribute manager> Particles, set the starting time to the same (-240).
Call the Simulate> Bake Particles (start -240, and set the end frame.)
Bake it.
Now set the timeline back to zero to your end frame, e.g., 0-90.(You can leave the timeline setting (right lower corner to -240 and use the timeline preview bar to limit the overall preview time.
Example
https://www.dropbox.com/s/82pqslgxsib3lxa/CV4_2023_drs_23_PTpr_01.c4d.zip?dl=0Objects can be used even after baking.
Let me know if that works for you.
Cheers
