Making a flow of marbles follow a spline.
-
Hi all,
I'm hoping someone more advanced than a beginner like myself can help me out.I have a glass tube which is curved and at the end of it is a glass bowl. Unfortunately, the site isn't allowing me to upload an image, it just says: ![Marble-Blood-Flow2.jpg](Image dimensions are too big), even though the width is 512 pixels.
The plan is to have bursts of small clusters of marbles (about 7) flow through the tube (back and forth like blood cells pumping) until it reaches the end of the tube and falls out, into the glass bowl.
I've tried using an 'Emitter' and a 'Follow Spline' modifier, but I'm struggling to get the marbles to drop into the bowl at the end.
I've also tried using an 'Emitter' and a 'Field Force' effector but again no luck. Both ways, I've used a 'Rigid Body' tag, but still have no clue.Any help will be grately appreciated, thank you.
I'm using Cinema 4d 2025.1.2 -
Hi ArtDirector,
Please have a look here:
https://www.youtube.com/live/PVpGahdjrow?si=U_G5yJyla3_bvpcU&t=3872The whole workflow is explained in detail. Since you are using 2025, the Field driver can help her create an easy setup.
I hope that provides you with what you need.
My best wishes
