Here is all fine. I have no data that anyone complained.
I can't tell. It shouldn't. Check the preferences, start in safe mode (Instructions are in the prefs.)
Please check with support.
Perhaps leave the HD screen out of it for a test, restart, check the Display Settings.
When you go to the Scaled, press the option key before clicking on the dot left to Select, that gives you more options.
