Hi collar-significance,

It sounds like the Take System is enabled, and you are not working in the Main Take.

This is often the case when an FBX is loaded and the import "alert" is clicked without reading it.

If that happens even in a new project file, please animate a cube and share that file.

So I can take a look at it.

Hi prompt-height,

Here is my suggestion. I would create a Null Object and apply User Data to it, Float, Float, Real, and 0.001 for the settings. See image.

Go to the Timeline, select the Time Scale keyframes, and Shift/CMD, drag these keyframes to the User Data. (CMD or Control, based on your settings)

This Null object, with a good name, can be dragged into the Asset Browser.

When you need it for another scene, drag this Null object into the Object Manager, and Shift/CMD drag it to the time scale.

I'm not aware of a faster workflow, assuming you like to add the keyframes while having worked already on the new project.

Otherwise, please make a copy of that project with the Time Scale animation, empty it completely, except for the Time Scale, and store that c4d file in the Asset Browser. This will open a copy of that, but to be clear, it will not inherit its Time Scale Animation to an existing scene.

The Matrix by itself is just a group of a few vectors. The first three describe the position, and the other nine define each time three vectors with three "sub-vectors". All of that is ist based on the length of these 12 vectors. The Matrix has no concept of Head, Pan, and Bank (HPB)

The Standard Null Object has, for simplicity, to use it.

The channels in the Timeline are not labeled to reflect that, as it would be confusing when the Rotation order would change, and then the naming and all values would need to be changed. That is not a given.

Perhaps check with Tech Support, to get a second opinion, if consider that a problem or not how it should be.

The node system is, so far, my impression, more of a developer platform for capsules and such. Solid knowledge like HBP v Matrix and why rotation order matters are expected. Again, that is my personal view.
