      Hello
I'm trying to achieve an effect where colors "change" when two surfaces overlap. It is a bit like the effect you get when you take three circles of different colors and the intersections are an "addition" of the colors.

I have two extruded circles in C4d and I am applying different textures to the cap and the extrusion.
I'd like to have the color combination effect happen only on the caps when they overlap.

I know this would normally be a blend mode, which I don't think is possible with two separate textures on two separate 3d objects, but maybe there is some technique that could be used for this? Lighting maybe?

      Here is my current file

      Thank you!

            You're very welcome, AlexC.

If images or video are projected on these three parts, while the middle material contains both resources, the illusion should work nicely.

            Cheers
