      Hello,

      i have a problem with particle simulation. My emitter generates the particles without any problems, but after caching I notice that all particles freeze in some frames. All particles run normally until the end of the animation, but every 10-20 frames the particles freeze, but after the frozen frame the simulation continues. Please help! Thanx

      Im using the latest version of c4d 2024.4.0

        Hi conditional-external,

        Does this show up as well while rendering those?

        Please share and example file, not cached, and as c4d (below 1MB) here. So I can explore it.

          @Dr-Sassi

          Dear Dr.Sassi

          thank you for your offer, I have just solve the problem. By default c4d is set to 30fps, since I work with 25fps I have of course adjusted the fps, but did not know that now under settings under import, the .abc format must also be assigned the fps manually. Phew, it took a while but it's working now. Thanks for your support anyway!

            Hi conditional-external,

            You're very welcome!

            Thank you very much for updating your question, and I'm happy you found it.

            This is why I typically ask for files; exploring a file is more accessible and perhaps faster than sharing a torrent of questions. (I eventually missed the winning question, after all.)

            My best wishes for your project.
