Holographic Shader with Redshift

Hi
I did some research previously but was not conclusive. How can we create a good holographic effect like on these cards with Redshift?link : https://www.youtube.com/shorts/tVXJ_WRv4PQ

Hi Pitchi,
The Thin Film comes to mind.
Set the Base to Black and Metalness to 1.0
Then, explore the Thin Film, Thickness between 200 and 800 for the start.
When this is comfortable to adjust, explore the IOR values from 1.5 to 3.0 for the start.I have animated the camera in the file below and used the Time slider and the RS Renderview.
CV4_2024_drs_24_RSir_01.c4dYou might like to explore defining a specific Normal Map to get more variance in the colors. Use the Displacer (Or any deformer)) if possible, as cards are never 100% flat.
All the best

okay, great ! thanks you i will explore

You're very welcome, Pitchi.
Perhaps explore as well how much the Transparency> Dispersion (Abbe) might add to the effect based on an extra Surface (extra model or second render pass). Just a thought.
Of course, there is always the idea of using fake it or having a gradient in the scene that provides this as a reflection source.
