Why are all my materials dimmed in the material manager.
      Load textures doesn't make difference.

        Hi Dutchbird,

I can confirm this with large amount of scenes open. From my point of view, the Render All Materials isn't working. So, the icons stay grayed out. You refer to 2025.2, correct?

How many scenes do you have open, and have you tried to render the materials.

If that is the same on your side, I'm unclear, e.g., are Takes involved or XRefs. etc. …

If you don't mind, please check with tech Support

Sorry for the trouble. This affects only the preview of the material in the Material Manager.

        All the best

@Dr-Sassi I noticed it came up after importing models from another scene.
The OCIO issue in Color Management turned up after importing models and returned to Default and the materials got dimmed.

            Thank you very much, Dutchbird,

I will explore this. I will add your observation to my report.

            Have a great weekend.

@Dr-Sassi I think the last update fixed it. So far.

                Hi Dutchbird,

I was able to reproduce it while having many projects open.

Having Chrome running in the background is the best way to slow things down, given my tendency to have too many tabs open.

I'm glad that you have it working!

                Enjoy
