I'm working with the Sound Effector. After a while (not sure of the trigger) sound no longer comes out the speakers. Song is playing and graph in the Sound Effector is normal but no audio at speakers. I have to restart Cinema to get it back.

      Is this known?

I'm on MacOS. (Latest versions of everything).

      Thanks,
      Greg

        Hi Greg,

Since you posted, I have an audio file running in a Sound Effector. On a Mac.
I stopped it started it, opened other files, and went back. It plays.

Does the effector show reactions to the file?

What is the Project Assets Inspector telling you?

Is that also the case when playing "All Frames" is not active?

Is the audio file playing well if you open a new project?

All these questions are just prep for Tech Support.

I would suggest checking with Tech Support.

Fingers crossed, this is solved quickly.

          @Dr-Sassi

Just happened again. Here are the answers to your questions.

Yes, the effector shows reactions to the file.
Project Asset Inspector shows a green check next to the audio file (mp3).
Does not play if I uncheck 'All Frames', nor when I recheck it.
No. I opened a new file, added a Sound Effector, loaded the file, and started the playback. No sound.

The objects I have animated with the sound effector still show the changes in time with the music.

It seems to be that Cinema has lost access to the audio subsystem in MacOS.

Do you think it's time to open a ticket?

          Thanks,
          Greg
