    Hello,

    https://www.behance.net/gallery/157684653/Rold-Gold-Gold-Hunters
I am trying to create something similar to the link above.

I have managed to get a splash/liquid style shape. I am using a cube, with some deformers on a spline path, attached to a helix.

But I am missing some of the more subtle organic elements such as the break up in the liquid and the holes that appear over time.

Just looking for guidance on creating the liquid feel without a particle system.

      Hi tie-version,

Please look here. It's just a B-Spline with a PoseMorph placed into a spline wrap.

I use here a particle object but with nearly no change and only the Standard Particle.
The Volume Object does the main work, and you can adjust the influence of each in various ways.

Let me know if that works for you.

A third option would be here (animating the plash)

      All the best

The main work is done by the Volume Object, and you can adjust the influence of each in various ways.

I added a camera set up for further context.
I am using a helix to create a swirl from behind the camera. Resulting in the fluid revealing a part of the logo in the animation.
I liked the 2nd project that was shared. But wanted to know how to make it work better with the camera and spline I am using.
I found that it was too big or the volume broke things down too much.
Wanted to see if there was any guidance. Does the initial particle need to be smaller to allow more control?

              Hi tie-version,

              Please have a look here.

              CV4_2024_drs_23_ANsp_11.c4d

I have introduced another idea, which uses the Helix, placed in a MoSpline, Sline Mode, and creates a Destination Spline. The MoSpline can define the length and position of the Destination Spline, which then defines some additional effects in the Volume.

You can switch off some parts to see what does what and then adjust accordingly. IF in doubt, create a small example file and explore.

My best wishes for your project

                P.S.:

I had some time tonight, so I refined it a little bit. Of course, you will have your ideas about it. But I hope it provides some ideas.

Great thank you. I am going to play around and see what works for these purposes.

                    Thanks for the reply, tie-version.

One of the core ideas is to have several sources in it so you can easily adjust each or even switch it off.

                    Cheers
