    Hi guys,
I'm trying to get the Mograph weights or cloner IDs onto the connected cloner (for shading reasons).
As soon as I turn on the Connect Object the grayscale data seems to be lost.

Maybe there is way to bring it over via VertexMap or VertexColor?

    Any hint appreciated 🙂

    Cheers,
    R.

      Hi RemoGambacciani,

      Would that work for you?

Thank you very much for your quick response @Dr-Sassi 🙂

        Unfortunately, not really 😞
I really need the shading/weight to somehow transfer to the connect object.
This small setup here is just a part of the scene, and it goes a few steps further with the connected cloner 🙂

        Cheers and thank's anyway 🙂

          Thanks for the reply, RemoGambacciani,

          Perhaps this might work

Please note that the information after the Connect Object is limited, as you have noticed.
Since the Connect object reproduces everything, individual ID numbers are lost.

On the other hand, if a second cloner produces the data or a connected object, it will be nearly the same work. Eventually, there is a way to create the initial setup via a matrix object and inherit that then to Many Cloner objects.
However, it isn't easy to get an example that does not represent hints as to why the Connect object is needed.
