c4d thumbnail doesn't show on MacOS on a MBP

Hey guys,
I'm on a m2 MBP (Sequoia 15), with the latest c4d (2025) .
Whereas files would show the thumbnails with a preview of the file model or whatever on earlier version of c4d, c4d 2025 now shows just the c4d icon.
I really would like to have the preview, (don't follow good naming/file organization schemes... it's practically impossible for me to work without this).
Any idea how I can get the file preview thumbnails back?

Sorry about that; I checked and submitted a report quoting you.
I do not have an M2 (nor anything newer than various M1s) here, so I can't test this.
If you go to the Attribute Manager> Mode> Scene> Info
Can you load an image there, and will it stay there for preview? "Preview Command"I hope it will be fixed soon.

This needs to be cleared on a developer level, perhaps at Apple.I can't see any news so far. Sorry

Maxon developers need to update some things given that Apple revised the way in which thumbnails are created.

Thanks for your care. Yes, that is reported since a while and I have no idea why this not fixed. Sorry.
Typically, there is a strong connection between Apple and Maxon. If I have a chance to find someone who is not aware of that, I will make sure this is known.

Maxon developers, please address this issue. There have been at least two software updates since it was first reported, yet no fix has been implemented. This ongoing problem is incredibly frustrating.

As many times mentioned, technical problems that need a developer to change the code are not the focus of this forum. For that, we have tech support.
I get that this is an annoying problem for you. Going by what I see, it is not for many people so far.
The few tickets issued about this are in the system and have not been ignored.Repeating this here is not the place to make more happen. This forum is about asking questions about the functions or looking for creative solutions.
