      Hi Maverick Mongoose,

Sorry, for security reasons, I touch only Dropbox, Wetransfer, Apple, Adobe, and Google, (and no Tiny-urls).

      Please have a look here:
It is just a Matrix between, set to Object mode and Axis.
      CV4_2024_drs_24_SItr_01.c4d
I hope it answers the question.

      All the best

Thank you very much, Maverick Mongoose.

          Here is your file back.

          CV4_2024_drs_24_SItr_11.c4d

Please cache it (The Cloner), to avoid the one frame delay that it otherwise has.

I have added two options to create this Tracer Circle. They are indicated by different label colors, just in case.

Thanks for not minding my security concerns, but each year after my IT Security Training, I'm slightly more neurotic. 😉 Since I share a lot, I have to keep safe here.

          Cheers

Perfect! I think I need to make more use off the Inheritance Effector for now on, thanks for that!

              Thanks for the feedback, MaverickMongoose.

Please keep in mind that the Inheritance Effector is also a perfect filter to stop or inherit any of the three parameter "PSR" (Parameter> Transform)

              Have a great weekend.

Interesting, I think it's going to become something I use a lot!

                  Thank you very much, MaverickMongoose.

Yes, it has been one of my favorite Effectors for a long time.

                  Have a great Sunday

                    OFF TOPIC

Hello Dr-Sassi / MaverickMongoose - really appreciated this question/answer as it was exactly what I and my colleague were trying to figure out.

Can you offer any deeper insight as to what changed between R23 and 2025 (I know it is a big leap, but it took us a bit to decide to make the upgrade)? I know I did the approach MM mentioned regarding using a tracer on cloners with a collider body tag; there seems to be a quantum shift in how dynamics were calculated in R23 vs. the new simulation system in 2025, but I am not well-versed enough in the inner-workings to know why.

Previously, I could use the approach MM described, without the need for an intermediate matrix. Why is that intermediate step now needed in 2025?

Thanks so much for the info if you have time for a response!
                    ~MV

                      OFF TOPIC

                      Hi MV,

Please open a new question in a new thread, otherwise it become hard to read through a single thread, especially if the initial problem is discussed further, and all becomes mixed up.

Collision Shapes are more advanced in the new System
                      https://help.maxon.net/c4d/2025/en-us/Default.htm#html/TRIGIDBODY-RIGIDBODY_PBD_COLLISION_GROUP.html#RIGIDBODY_PBD_COLLISION_SHAPES

Simulations, please have a look here:
                      https://www.youtube.com/@MaxonTrainingTeam/search?query=Simulation%20Cinema%204D

The amount of changes is huge, so I will not try, based on the idea that it would take hours if done well. I surely can give you a hint, go to the manual and check "what is new in" version:
                      https://help.maxon.net/c4d/2025/en-us/Default.htm#html/33010.html?TocPath=_____3
Check previous versions of the manual as well.
As you can see, it would perhaps fill a few pages only with the headlines. To explain what happens since, I would not even know where to start. I haven't touched R25 in years, except for the occasional question, which doesn't count as refreshing all knowledge of what R25 was.

                      Perhaps use this link:
                      https://cineversity.maxon.net/en/results?term=new%20in
Set perhaps the filter to Cinema 4D, or Redshift.

OR check out one of our YouTube channels:
                      https://www.youtube.com/@MaxonTrainingTeam/search?query=new%20in

If you have a specific field you work in and a more detailed question, I can take a look into it. Again, please in a new thread. Thank you.

                      Enjoy your Sunday
