RE: Material Projection.
Hi and thanks again for your help. Here is an object that is from a CAD file, imported as a .stp into C4D. IDK if its to do with the polygon arrangement, Ive never had this before. When you drop or apply a material, its always spherical projection by default. Well on my machine, anyway.

Material Projection.
Hi!
Since the last update, I have noticed the default material projection is spherical, instead of UVW mapping. Can I change the default somehow? Thanks in advance

RE: Pyro with team render....
@schedule-list Tech support were made aware of this, and could recreate the problem. But fixing it? I got a reply months ago saying the tech team were aware and working on it. Last I heard...

Deleting Vray elements
Hello,
I've used elements of a Model I downloaded from Turbo Squid. It had vray materials on it. I replaced all the materials with redshift, but when I go to team render, it breaks down, saying the project uses plugins that are not installed.
How do I remove all traces of vray from the project?Thx in advance

Cloth (?) Question
Hello,
I have run into a wall. I have been tasked to recreate this hospital shower chair. I have the frame and everything done, no problems, but how do I go about modelling this blue mesh material over the frame?
Can somebody point me in the right direction?
thx in advance...

Pyro with team render....
... doesn't seem to work. I had a huge problem even getting it to render in the picture viewer. Ended up having to copy the project elements into a new project, and setting up the pyro simulator again. Then I got it to render in the picture viewer.
But then I started rendering it in team render, the master machine is rendering correctly, but the slave machine renders without pyro. Yes, the scene is cached. Any ideas?Regards

Dynamics Question
Hello, I have a question about dynamics, specifically rope dynamics. Say I have a model of a bike. I make the brake cable, that runs from the handlebars to the back wheel. It it possible to anchor spline points to objects, so that when the handlebars turn, the cable bends and moves in a realistic manner? Can I anchor one end to an object, and the other end to a different object? This is killing me trying to keyframe this stuff. If someone (who am I kidding, it will be Dr. Sassi) can point me in the right direction... That would be swell.
Thanks in advance

RE: Rotation Problem
@Dr-Sassi AHHHH ha... Now I see.
Thanks for the help.

RE: Rotation Problem
@Dr-Sassi Hi sorry it took a bit of time, busy boy an all...
Here's how I achieved it, but with a few more keyframes to smooth it out a bit more. But It would of been much better to have the head move in a perfect circular motion, while keeping the same direction.
cheers,

RE: Rotation Problem
Yeah, sorry, the models I work with are CADs from our R&D department... They would flip if they thought I was sending them out of house, whatever the reason...

RE: Rotation Problem
@Dr-Sassi
Hi, and thanks again for your help... Unfortunately, it was not what I was trying to achieve, as the axis of the rotating object must always be pointing in the same direction. I have animated it by hand. It doesnt look so presise, but it'll do. Rough enough, good enough...

Rotation Problem
Hello,
Im having a problem getting my head around what is, for sure, a very easy thing... I want to rotate an object in a circle, but have the bottom fixed at a point. Much like if you stuck a pencil in the ground, the moved the top around in a circle... ya know what I mean? The rotation would be cone shaped, not cylinder, Can someone help?Cheers, Simon
