Yes, for the disable Node shortcut, which is an industrial classic all over the place (Nuke, DaVinci, Fusion, etc.) I agree.
Typically, the D shortcut (or in combination with cmd or option, etc).

Thank you very much for your time and workaround! This is definitely way far than I even could though inside C4D, and I see your solution working, yes!

The good news is that a Maya team was able to troubleshoot and find a solution on this morning. They used a plane behind the text object and animated the plane mimicking the movement of the text. Then they transferred the UV from the plane to the text, I guess in a frontal projection or something like this. It was a fake UV but it kinda works for the purpose.

Also, I was thinking to use the Mesh deformer in C4D applied to a text object (identical as the original animation) and try to deform it using the animation as a cage, but I had not luck on this side - possibly with your knowledge that may be a workaround?

...increasing the angular damping also helps a bit in combination with 100 substeps (maybe trajectory force shifts to rotational force). But after a few more seconds, the simulation gets random again, even without rotation.

Thank you for the example. You beat me to the punch, because I was going to show you (attached) a much closer proxy of what I'm creating.
You can see that the Data Mapper is controlling the radius of the particles, over their age percentage.
However, when you enable the MoG Object, you'll notice that it (not surprisingly) doesn't see that data, so the radius of the particles (clones) remains constant.
Was your project showing a way to also solve for the radius? My apologies; my brain is still waking up today...

Select the Thicken. Spline and use the Main Menu> Spline> Point Order> Reverse Sequence if it is 180º

In difficult cases, you need to work with a Rail, typically switch "Use Rail Scale" off.

I have unchecked the End-Cap in the Thicken to showcase the change in a better way. Deactivate the Connect Object to see the effect. It is perhaps the closest to my understand what you are looking for.

I'm not clear if there is enough demand for tank (or similar) motion simulation to suggest a "Share Your Idea!" with Maxon.
But I could imagine an analytic tag for all Wheel Suspensions, which could guide this complex motion/Intertia data extraction.

Yes, the time difference is there, and it is a more than "noticeable" one. Of course, the engines are different, and how they apply, for example, displacement.

I'm not sure if I can find more than reducing the time to a 1/3rd, but of course, that is always project dependent. Perhaps exploring increasing the Samples to a very high number might help.

I will check later what the RS forum shared.

If I get the direction where it has to go right, the need would be to have a visual time scale option that provides a loose resemblance to the timeline.
The key component to consider here is, of course, that the whole setup stays intact when the frame rate needs an adjustment for different markets or targets.

I learned Xpresso node by node, playing with it.
The typical suggestion would be:
What is in the "wires", knowing the formats, Real, Integer, Vector, to start.
Then pick some nodes and mess around. You know that everything has a learning curve, so take your time.
When hitting a roadblock, please ask! I learn from questions as well. So, never a waste of time for me.
