I hope this little test vehicle will provide enough data to get your project closer to your target.
I'm not clear if there is enough demand for tank (or similar) motion simulation to suggest a "Share Your Idea!" with Maxon.
But I could imagine an analytic tag for all Wheel Suspensions, which could guide this complex motion/Intertia data extraction.

Please share that with Maxon, and if others read a long and find that great, please add you voice as well. 🙂
Select edge or a connected series of edges "Edge to Spline"
For the direction of the joints hierarchy "Reverse Spline Direction"
Call up the function and add the amount of Joints "Convert Spline to Joints",
A check box if the Joints needs to be single or in a hierarchy, direction of the hierarchy.
Handles for start and finish or per Created Spline Point (related to the edge selection).

I have no idea how often those things appear on your screen, but allow me a tip: joints might be more adaptable here to various meshes.
All the best
P.S.: I have had no option to see you file. If that 1MB size hits again, I open DropBox, Wetransfer, Google, Adobe or Apple cloud services. Please always the full URL pasted, no HTML wrapper.
If that is no option, I have a drop box account and I can set up an upload.
If the setup only needs to have the change, why not use a PoseMorph, for example: CV4_2025_drs_24_MGfa_11.c4d
If more morphs are needed, this is doable with the PoseMorph.
Perhaps explore as well how much the Transparency> Dispersion (Abbe) might add to the effect based on an extra Surface (extra model or second render pass). Just a thought.
Of course, there is always the idea of using fake it or having a gradient in the scene that provides this as a reflection source.
