I would need a file from you, just the Spline from the CROW image. Even the W is fine. That should be small and able to be uploaded here as a c4d file, no zip.
(Images tell what is going wrong but not why. So please, a c4D file with the Spline; thank you.

He solved it by subdividing the mesh, meaning the polygons got smaller.

I have tried all render settings, and the results are on average the same, or checked off – slower. But after a while of running tests, things become more equal again.

Since you get differnt results, it must be based on hard ware configurations.

It's not a big problem, and it's easy to fix.

I have seen 3rd party (cinematographer's) forums where one thread goes on over thousands of posts, changing the subject many times and rendering things useless. Even search terms often do not help anymore.

The biggest power to change is to define why a suggestion would improve the workflow for anyone.
From my perspective, the last chance is to complain without any ideas. 😉

I'm unsure if I have more power with a suggestion, as I use our standard protocol to submit things, which is on the same level as yours. If the idea can't speak for itself, I might not have the idea that gets on the top of the to-do list. The only way to have the most success is to write positively and create an impact that the idea never leaves the mind of the one who has read it.

Any questions about future releases indicate that I would violate my NDA. That will not happen. There is nothing to add to that. Thanks for understanding.

If you need a single polygon Boole, and what you currently get is not enough, make a suggestion. IF you like to share more about it here, please in a new thread. Thank you.

Based on your initial question, I have put some notes into a little PDF, which I would call a rough draft, and I will expand on it. I hope it can grow enough to become a chapter in a book.

Is that a changing selection of a fixed one? If fixed, you could select the polygons, then invert those (U~I) and create a new selection.

Nodes are, so far I can tell, mainly targeting "Capsule" development. From my point of view, it is a Technical Director option. I do not see it as a target to replace the modeling tools. (I put an equivalent of IMHO in each time to clarify that this might not be the official idea.)

Your question was general, and with that, it is often complicated to find a one-size-fits-all solution, s we all have our ideas of where it would stop working.

If you have a specific case, then please share that as a sketch or as a file.

My typical MO is that I love seeing the Project file or a sketch.
I do not like to answer questions or reply from memory. Over the past 17 years, running the Q&A forum here has proven to be the best way. This thread shows that not having specific data is wasting your time. Sorry about this.
I love to find creative solutions if there is no default option.
One question, why it has to be a Spline? What is the target? The more details you share, the better I can explore this.
