I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts and the way you approach C4D from a creative and artistic perspective. Your point about how MoGraph opened up possibilities beyond what even the developers imagined really resonates with me — that’s the kind of freedom that fuels unique work. I completely agree that creativity should be the main focus; in fact, I believe that we are moving into a time where Art is the main center of the needed skillset. Having been a demo artist back then on day one (MoGraph Premiere, NAB in Las Vegas, NV) of MoGraph in 2006, I have seen, since then, for nearly two decades, a lot of breathtaking results, and it doesn’t stop: Thanks to Artists like you!

I understand the friction about things not working as they should. I’m typically happy to search for workarounds, but anything that feels like a coding problem needs to go to tech support, which is the closest and most serious direct next step to the development team. I do not shortcut that, as those communication channels are defined. Either way, if it is a problem, tech support, or if it is an idea or vision of how it should work, same URL, but the “Share Your Idea”. Thanks for considering.

I just after posting saw your answer, I had already set this up, then I had to join a meeting. Sounds great 🙂
I will share my prepared post anyway.

The simplest way is just a Data mapper, lifetime to Radius. But that is not along your requests, as it sets the fade in, fade out to various lenght, if the life time varies. An exact frame number for all individual particles is not given. If that is not a problem, here is the simplest way.
I left an alternative in it, with a ramp.

The beginning is simpler, as all particles start with the first frame; they are "born" and age from there.

To keep it simple, that can be done with a Condition.

Example:
CV4_2026_drs_26_PAst_03.c4d

When the growth period is over, it gets moved to the next one, which is the same as the one above, discussed with the problem of variance regarding lifetime.

Preferences> Viewport Display> Viewport Display> Animation Preview in all Views: checked

EDIT: re-rendered, and get drop outs. Since it works and then not, I'm uncertain what to do. Tech Support. /edit

I rendered the Mix material, but created a Ramp for the transition, to exclude the Vertex map data. Same problem.

Next, the Displacement material alone, and the Shiny Gold material alone, no problem.

Which excludes the Vertex map, or any Displacement map.

So, back to your scene as it was.

Now I went to the RS Render Tag, and animated the Displacement Scale from frame 0 with a value of 1.05 to frame 90 and a value of 0.95. The change is nearly invisible, but the number change means that a new displacement case is needed, a “refreshing-problem” would be my best guess for now.

Rendered it three times to see if any of the random drop-outs appear. All fine.

I get no "displacement drop-outs " anymore. Can you confirm that?~~

Doors around a 90º corner via Spline, while having different distances: Sorry, that is not just done with a single Cloner. Below are two setups, one with your Spline.

I have attached your Spline request. This needs to have some Points added to the Spline. I switched Bezier off and Linear for this.
The points could be used, but I would not suggest that. The Extrude can give it a better direction, from there, the Cloner places per Segment/Polygon. Since there are more Polygons perhaps, perhaps the MoGraph Selection and Hide Selected is used.

I added an alternative, based on some Null Objects, creating via Tracer a Spline, then Extrude this and use it in a Cloner. Is that the simplest? Well, I would start with a polygon and use that in the Cloner. Sometimes I just use many Polygon Objects under a Connect object for single object Placement via Cloner.

Please note that the slider of PoseMorph can go negative and beyond 100%

I'm not clear if there is enough demand for tank (or similar) motion simulation to suggest a "Share Your Idea!" with Maxon.
But I could imagine an analytic tag for all Wheel Suspensions, which could guide this complex motion/Intertia data extraction.

Yes, the time difference is there, and it is a more than "noticeable" one. Of course, the engines are different, and how they apply, for example, displacement.

I'm not sure if I can find more than reducing the time to a 1/3rd, but of course, that is always project dependent. Perhaps exploring increasing the Samples to a very high number might help.
