I have occasionally seen this when things get CMD dragged copied. I prefer to copy and paste, but I also use the shortcut route; it should work both ways these days.

When I copy the whole Object manager into a new file and set the scene accordingly (I missed only the fps; yours is 25, and mine is by default 24), the problem persists. If I replace the Cloner and set up the Cloth newly, things work here. Example:

CV4_2025_drs_24_MGfp_01.c4d

Please load this file into a new scene and check if that works similarly. Here, it shows up fluent.

I created three External abc files, via External and Cache Scene.

I loaded all three "abc" files into a new scene and exported them into a new single "abc" file. The one that is shared here.

There are no mistakes, only gained experience.

I believe everyone (at least in my experience doing set design or stage design work [Film-Architektur, as we called it back in Berlin]) has made this flip, hence the use of the term "Stage Left" which is on the right from the audience's point of view. Which is pretty much what happens here. It's a classic situation.

The User Data option is for convenience. Otherwise, you must open the XPresso Editor before your animation setup session and search for the right node. Doing that in a project after a month is not fun, and things get complex occasionally. The idea is always to work towards a setup that is not in the way of animating the scene. When one is in the flow, things must be simple to handle and able to focus on what is important, and that is never to search for a parameter somewhere.

Those User Data Entryries can be done all on one Object (or several), allowing for the creation of a mixer panel. From there, creating a HUD (Head Up Display) Copy in the editor window is also easier. Which can show up when the Object is active or permanent. Like in a car where no one would put the head-light switch into the trunk 😉

The Spline node is limited in this regard. If you like to have more, you can do it via Math. Example:
CV4_2025_drs_24_XPsp_01.c4d

Or just use a Helix and set the Height to zero, then increase the End Angle and perhaps the Interpolation. It looks like a circle, but it is so much more.

Thanks for your time. The idea was just to describe what doesn't work and what makes it work—a few lines.
Just enough that the developers can reproduce the problem and solve it for anyone who needs to work in version 2024.

But, so far, I can't find any entry of a reported problem that would match your findings. Since it was with 2024.4.1, which was not the latest of 2024 releases, let's see if anyone has troubles with 2025, and it will soon be no problem for anyone.

Have you explored the Boolean in 2025.1.?
It should work better with UV and Textures.

While there is always something that might overlap, etc.

A good command over the UV workflow is a good thing to have.

The Offset of the Spline Curve moves it then inwards.

Splines can be exported via Alembic. Please note: Bezier will be converted to Linear, for example. This means the interplate settings become important.

When you cache the new Particle System, it uses Alembic as a format. Have you tried this route?

If you have questions about Unity, that would be best in the Unity Forum, or as I did, I googled it, and it tells me that Unity can use Alembic Particle data to feed into their particle system. I have not done it, so please check with Unity Documentation or the usual forums, as I have not. When I answer, typically, I have done it with the current installations as things change, and answering from memory has not shown a winning strategy over the past decades. Hence, my suggestion is to ask artists who do this daily.

If we get more questions from more artists about Unity, I'm sure the tutorial content can be updated faster. There have been very few requests lately about Unity, even though we introduced the Cineware plug-in four years ago.

The shirt was built with volume, which doesn't help, so I made a copy and took the inside out. The Cloth Surface will replace the thickness.
The mesh was rather dense, so I Remeshed it. Hence, the texture is off, but let us focus on the motion first. This is art direction, and I have no idea how you would like to have it.
The Puppet is a bad Collider, hence I smoothed it with the Volume workflow. Otherwise, the two shoulder "balls" shape the shirt. (or was that intentional?)

I have decreased the Gravity and the Mass of the shirt. With a Mass of 1, that shirt would be 1kg per 1000cc and normal Gravity. With the modeled initial double-sided. The typical air in the fabric is not acknowledged, etc.

Cache it first.

My best guess is one or the other might lead to a problem:

If the point selected has no joint selected that carries anything that allows for subtraction (Wrist or index), nothing will happen.

Perhaps your intuition tells you to move the slider to the left, which feels subtractive and natural. But the slider needs to get to the right, as the value chosen must be positive. Otherwise, you have a double "negative".

Sorry, guessing might portray your question as if you didn't know what to do, which is not my intention. I can only assume, otherwise, I would just say, do this or that.

The file was over 1MB, which led to an error. Default settings: nothing that I can change. Sorry.

Thank you for the file and the extra work.
The noise circle had 14392 points and eight (2x4) segments, while the Circle had 8001 points and one segment.
What means 2x4? The noise spline had each segment twice in it. Besides that, each segment's point order was either clockwise or counterclockwise, or we take the Circle like a clock.
The Point order can be reversed in the
Main Menu> Spline> Point Order> Reverse Sequence.
This will not work with mixed directions of segments in one Spline object. Explode, fix, and then Connect would be a workflow.

I suggest creating the base file for the Posemorph the same way as the next Pose object. This allows for a simple way to match.

Think of the point mode as an option to connect all POI IDs that match each other as the ideal setup.
